The Creative ART Connection is a non-profit organization whose purpose it is to stimulate cultural development in the Bossier City community by providing activities and an outlet for the talents of all craftsmen in the field of fine arts. The Creative Art Connection shall encourage the production of creative work and the appreciation of art in order to widen the vision of the individual and to enrich the moral and spiritual life of the community.

"Art Affaire" in the Garden

At the Barnwell Memorial Garden and Arts Center, Shreveport, La., Saturday March 20, 2010
from 10 am until 3pm. CAC members Bob and Judy Horne will be there. Come and visit with them under the trees! It's a beautiful place to visit and walk around, if you have never been there.

Member Show

Rod Talbot is having a showing of his drawings at the North Market branch of the library on March 3, 2010. The show is titled " Black and white with a touch of color". Included in the show are pen and inks, scratch boards, water color, pencil color and markers. The show will hang through March 30, 2010.

18th Annual Winter Juried Show

This year’s Best of Show is “Time for Tea,” a batik and water media piece by Karen Harrington.





The First Place winner is “Yes, I See,” a watercolor by Linda Larey.



















Judy Horne won Second Place with ”Shadow Swimmers.”














Cindy Holmes’ “REM,” in oil, took Third Place.



















Congratulations to all the winners and to everyone who participated in the Show! The show hangs until the end of March at the East Bank Gallery of the Bossier Arts Council in Bossier City, Louisiana.
