May Meeting and more ART ART ART...

What a great May meeting! Our demo by LaTonia Barto on "How to Photograph Your Art Work" was a total success. We had so many questions and she was very patient with us. The ATC exchange was fun as usual and hopefully will continue to be a part of our meetings. Don't forget your summer assignments:
- design your own name tag
- get your creative juices flowing for our Fall Show - more details on that as they become available
- new logo design by current members - prospectus available soon

Local artist Su Stella with some very nice words about the Shreveport/Bossier art scene. CAC had the pleasure to meet Su at one of our monthly meetings when she gave us a demo of her art and a talk on how to promote yourself as an artist in this world of computers, social networks and otherwise fast pace lives.
Su Stella is part of the Louisiana Public Broadcasting "ART and TRAVEL" auction coming up June 7th at 6:00 pm. Mark your calendars.

REMINDER!
- The Spring Art Show is hanging and it is beautiful! Go see it! Central Library Branch, Bossier City, next to the Municipal Complex.
- The reception for the 31st Spring Art Festival is Sunday April 11, 2010 from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm at the History Center of the Central Branch of the Bossier Parish Library.
- The April CAC meeting is April 12, 2010 at 6:30 pm at the Bossier Arts Council Annex.
